For elders or individuals experiencing physical modifications due to surgical treatments or injuries, I have prepared this Elders Must-Do series. Today, we will interview my chiropractic doctor, Dr. Corey Clements, who helped me repair my back injury. Dr. Clements has a deep understanding of golf mechanics, so today's info will be really valuable for passionate golfers. I hope all of us can get a better understanding of arthritis caused by a tight grip, and ideally, we can apply today's idea to our golf game to assist us take pleasure in golf for many years to come.

Thank you! 🤗

I’m excited for this series, Aimee! I am recent senior who just picked up the game of golf.
Great video. I love the insight that Dr. Clements gives into how the body (joints) age and affect the golf grip and swing. I have changed my grips from “standard” to “mid-size” on my clubs as well as oversize on my putter. The larger grips are much more comfortable and I notice that I am hitting my clubs (longer irons and “woods” especially) straighter, since it seems I don’t have to grip them as “tightly” which tends to cause me to pull my shots.
That’s great to hear! It was such an educational interview for me! I hope this series helps our games! Thanks for sharing 🙂 There is 3 more interview to come. Please look forward to those!
Thank you so much Dr. Clements & Aimee. It is very informative. It is counter to our common knowledge.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you:)
I get plenty of exercise. I’ve been using the Chuck Norris endorsed Total Gym for over 45 years. I also go to the gym (YMCA), something I’ve been doing for over 45 years as well, a couple of days a week. I used to be a power lifter but wear and tear has stopped that. As an amateur photographer, I hike a lot on nature and wildlife hikes. Exercise keeps the mind active as well.
Wow that’s great 👍 And FYI, one of your questions gets answered by Dr. Clements!🤫😉
I do have arthritis one one finger, not the thumb, but it flares up. Create a good amount of pain. Using cream to reduce inflammation. THis is making hard to practice/play more than 3 to 4 days a week. Anyway, the passion is still greater than the pain and I enjoy every time I get to hit some balls.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. A lot of golfers suffer from arthritis in the fingers. I hope this interview helps a little! Thank you ☺️
And lovely to see the badge! Thank you 👍
감사해요!!!
That was good advice, thank you Aimee and Doctor Corey.
