() We discussed the lag in the last lesson. When you begin lagging well, you will become lost on how to launch the club. The movement right before the release is now improved, it will shake off your release. If you have questions on "why am I slicing," "when should I start launching," "how do I release," or "what is launching the club mean?" Then you're at the best place! I will discuss what release is and show you an Aimeefied drill to help you release well. Once you begin releasing well, you will start to feel the compression at impact, better ball flight, longer range, and better precision. you will be impressed how square you will strike the ball, each and every single time.

Great week Aimee 🌺🌺🌺
Thank you! 🤗you too!
@Golf with Aimee Merci beaucoup pour cette réponse
🌺😚🌺
Great morning Aimee, thank you for sharing 🏌
I also started with persimmon woods. I have always had my left hand lead through impact and now see a path visually for proper release. This is the best example of how to and why to I’ve seen with a easy to implement drill. Thank you for this very understandable breakdown of what has been difficult for me to convert to. Feels like Xmas came early for me. Hope the best for you during the Holidays.
Hi Michael, thanks so much. That is very sweet of you to share!
Happy Holidays to you too 🙂
@Golf with Aimee does the right hand takeover just prior to impact ball or earlier? Perhaps that one handed drill will give the answer on feel alone.
Well done Aimee professional until the end. They say never work with animals or children 🙂
☺️☺️ Thanks Alan
Nice job….Thank you🤗
Great video & drills Aimee..I’m confident with practice it will fix my slice 😀 👍..Thankyou!
Loved the lesson and the dog appearances. 🙂
Great vid as always Aimee but I have to say Poke was the star of the show 😂
Awesome lesson, Aimee!! 👍🙌👏
Love the content. Easy to understand. Love the way you elaborate as if you’re teaching a technical dance move ❤️
I appears that your hands have to SLOW DOWN through impact so your clubhead can catch up (from lag to post-impact)
Is that true?
I think most people try to accelerate their HANDS through impact, thus the clubhead can’t catch up, and results in an open clubface. No?
Good stuff, Aimee 👍🏻
there it is again, “point the club to the correct spot” — what a simple instruction! love it! thanks aimee!
Really great lesson, can’t wait to work on this at the range. I’ve been working on my lag, in particular getting that trail elbow in front of my body to maintain angles in the downswing but as a result I’ve found that I’m hitting a lot of blocks out to the right. I don’t think any other coach has managed to explain the release in such a simple and understandable way.
Thx, Aimee! Your swing tips are always easy to understand and implement. Your recent video on setting the club at the top was especially helpful in getting my sequencing back on track.
Without a doubt, the worst title and cover image possible.
Fantastic content Aimee and I’m going to try this on the range.
