(한국어 버전 ➫ ) To create fast club head speed, I’m going to aimeefy your hip turn in detail. Best scenario is if you understand how to turn the hips, and then have a full control of the movement, not only will you have a beautiful golf swing, but a powerful one as well!

These 2 Moves Are KILLING Your Club Head Speed! | WINTER PROJECT (Ep. 8)
Like the touch slide idea and knee action
Just awesome, Amy! Not only are your ideas the most important ones for a good golf swing but you explain them more clearly than almost all of the other instructors. You have clear thoughts in your mind and you express them so well. Love it! Love you!
Thanks for explaining and demonstrating that so nicely Aimee. Sometimes just have to get back to some simple basic fundamentals such as this to stay dialed-in and yes this is really going to help me focus again on the proper hip turn and weight shift. I do tend to lose a little contact with the “wall” sometimes. This gives me a much better understanding of the correct sequence to practice.
Absolutely! Glad this was helpful 😁 Thanks!
Great video. I got it…..touch-slide-push. Really good advice. Thank you
Hi coach.. what about driver and long iron?
This would apply to the long irons. I am still on irons for the Winter project! Which means the driver is slightly different. I do have a driver series on the channel if you want to check it out!

@Golf with Aimee thk u very much coach 🙏🍻 *Respect 🙆🏻♂️
I have this very issue, left leg going too far sideways meaning I smash the ball 200ft into the sky😮
Always good too see a lady golfer that doesn’t hold back explaining the truth in a golf swing . . thanks Aimee.
Not a fan of sliding and turning to me the left leg has to go back or knee go back and the hips will go back like they should and your follow through will complete the turn massive distance.
Hi Aimee, your golf swing is beautiful. I am curious about when you said “slide”, how about the head? Should we slide only the hip or my head also move a bit?
Yes this is a way to do it but it’s old school, real speed comes from the arms and hands, which can move a lot faster than the hips. If you did nothing with your arms from the top turning your hips would just leave your arms behind. Hip turn is more of a reaction to the arms pulling the hips around. Just look at all these young tour players with massive hip turn with back issues most grew up watching Tiger. How’s Tigers back doing? You never think about spinning the hips when throwing a ball or swinging a baseball bat. We need to get away from this style of teaching. To see how to do it watch Mike Malaska, or Marcus Edblad if you want to save your back.
Don’t agree. I tried just concentrating on moving the hips-but this caused the arms to start falling into position. Obviously you have to coincide Aimee’s hip turn with swinging your arms down and through to a full finish.
@Gavin Elliot try pulling your arms down first, your hips will react. Try swinging a baseball bat with your hips.

You are super funny and a terrific teacher to boot. ❤
As always… awesome lesson!!
