Guy had some round with incredible highlights. It’s interesting to see even Rick losses his driver sometimes. Last time I played I completely lost all confidence in it after having an amazing day driving my first round of the year
Incredible shot Guy! I couldn’t believe it, but this week I also made my first ever Eagle. 1 hop in the hole, also with PW from 144 yards! Must be the time of year for them 😁

I do think your short game is really a lot more positive Rick, even though it hasn’t shown up on the scorecard today. A joy to watch and an inspiration. Short game is really where I want to focus on my game, so this gives me hope. The scores will come.

Awesome reaction Guy! As far as history making, as a boy I would caddie for my dad. His course opened with 3 par 4s, and he started 4-2-10. Fifty-odd years ago but I can picture it so clearly. Memories like that, and shots like yours are what makes this game great.

I have no words…..I felt your pain, guys. This was just “one of those days of golf”. Now on the upside, Guy’s second shot for eagle on #1 was absolutely amazing. His game has really improved immensely. But since the miracle shot didn’t set the tone for the day, it would have been nice had it happened later in the round when you both could have used an energy spike. In spite of it all, it was a beautiful day on a beautiful course where you had the joy of swinging clubs while I sat on my butt in Texas just watching on a computer screen.
Thank you! I play off of 22 and had a couple of nightmare rounds ( not unlike yours on this episode) at least it make me feels good that even you have days like this, not sure if it makes you feel so good! Keep up the great work.

Hiya Rick (and Guy)… Thank you for posting these rounds. It is frustrating when an expected round doesn’t pan out like we plan but you both show that it happens to all of us. Take whatever positives you can and attack the next day! Rick, when you come back to Florida bring Guy. he needs to see the difference in the courses here, and how your short game would certainly help you even more with the lush (and sometimes muddy) grass areas haha.
