Par 6?
My favorite position is the one where I can reach the snacks without getting up✨
Just plays like a regulation par 5 if you’re long enough. Great way to make the game easier and throw in some diversity and interest to the course design!
Didn’t even know those existed😂
the reason par 6s are so rare is because they are easy to birdie or better.. 150 yards into the green setting up an eagle putt is a dead give away..
For those of an older vintage, 148 yards into a par 5 would be a fantastic result! 😉
Sounds like a par 12!
Played a par 6 800 yarder in Thailand , I managed a 7 , driver , five wood, five wood , five wood, 6 iron , , wedge , putt !!
smoked driver to 420 yards, snoop
dogg would approve
Most boring hole on the course 🥱
A good par six is needed on a major Tournament. Each shot should represent a specific skill needed. Tee shot should be up against water for distance at around 265 yards The second shot should be a carry over water of at least 240 yards. Third shot should be a blind shot into a dogleg up a hill to a narrow green protected by water over the back and bunkers all around. Really something that should keep all pros on their toes.
Quite easy to have an Eagle chance… 2 smacks and a mid iron….
We have one at Fort Prevel golf course in Quebec Canada, hole #2 702 Y from the blue 633 from the white
When you get back to play Sreamsong, Blue #17 is 690 par 5. Had a player from Australia birdie that hole. Very impressive
What would 2 shots be called 🤔
