    1. Cant wait to see some more break 75 episodes. After my wreck i haven’t been able to play at all so your videos are the fix i need.

    2. Take your time man. Get your game where you want it, then worry about entertaining us. I’m enjoying watching the journey.

  1. I wonder if those new clubs will have a longer, higher and straighter ball flight with less spin and a more forgiving face on off center hits?

  2. I wouldn’t mind getting a breakdown of what it is you are working on after you see Dan.
I enjoy learning about the technical aspects of the swing and seeing you walk us through the swing changes you are making and why you are making them (as in what impact it has on the ball flight) could be educational.

    1. @Andy’s Golf Blog To be fair, the first video in the series did do a decent job while he was at Dan’s shop, but a summary/breakdown with Rick taking the time to talk about the why behind the changes would be interesting.

  3. Love the new theme. I’m personally going through the same process. I got old and fat and totally lost my swing so I went back to my swing coach from 30 years ago to rebuild a new swing. Looking forward to seeing the results. Keep us informed.

    1. Have you considered putting as much effort into getting healthier as you are getting your game in place? Don’t settle with complacency. Be the better version of yourself. No matter how old & accomplished. You can still reap the benefits of the hard work with golf and enjoy your game for longer

  4. Loving this series, I am going through something similar myself working on driver/fairway wood issues I have been having. Keep up the great work!

  5. I’m dealing with this now. Taking golftec lessons and, basically, relearning how to swing. I tend to not keep my left arm straight and bring the club up too vertical. It’s hard to change old habits.

  6. Loving the camera style. Nice polished blog. Love to see this continue even if it’s just behind the scenes of the regular vids.

  7. Dan’s studio is something else. There is every tool, piece of equipment and tech in there. If Dan can’t help you, no-one can.

  8. Put the work in and you get the reward. I practised every day at the beginning of last season and dropped from 17 to 13 . Going to do the same next year in my quest for single figures ! Still using the methods you showed me up at Prairie 😉

  9. Must feel weird for you to play golf just for fun! Good to see it, though! I went out for a round with my son, just the two of us, and it was the most relaxed golf I’ve played this year, and it was my best round of the year, as well. It was glorious, haha! Alas, the courses are closed now after getting our first snow on the ground for the year. Time to move back indoors to the sim, which I intend to do all winter. I started doing it later last year and only got in 8 sessions. Next season is going to be my year to break 80 on the course. I have no issues doing it on the sim, but it’s different, obviously, lol.

  10. Liking the practice. Your short irons always seem much more accurate when you’re hitting them smoothly.

  11. The footwork is starting to improve (especially your left foot not coming up on the toe as much at impact) which means your rhythm and weight shift are improving. Keep it up…..!!

  12. Rick, you got the year wrong in the intro! Almost had a heart attack thinking this wasn’t the update I’d been waiting all week for! Great vlog series so far!
