I actually need a new guitar case… this could work out perfectly
It’s a sign
😂
The team used to design for Callaway, and also run the Southern California Design Co., who happen to produce clubs for other brands too
I believe they designed the Kirkland wedges also.
Look like callaway
@vertstang123Southern California design co did, yes.
This would be a good video for a review channel 😃
Great video, these wedges look really good.
Would be cool to see how the new Adams wedges do as well. They look great.
This really shows how name brand doesn’t always mean that they are the best.
Great vid as usual Rick
Exactly. Rick himself says the Costco wedges are every bit as good as the taylormade wedges except they are 1/3 of the price.
indi is great, so underrated
They look like really cheap cast metal china clubs because of the finish used
They look like really cheap cast metal china clubs because of the finish used
Hence the phrase ‘All the gear, no idea’
I would prefer it if the drone shots were the other way round. Feel like its confusing with the front of the green being at the top of the screen and then when they spin they go away from us rather than spinning back towards us.
Or just an arrow showing Rick’s position off screen.
Very much agree
Agree completely!
That’s like film making 101 is to keep a consistent screen direction
Agree. But then you may run the risk of hitting the drone – weather depending
What a great review, if only there was a channel dedicated to these types of reviews!!
<3
Coming soon* (*= eventually, maybe…)
@Jack Dempsey Coming (eventually maybe this month but could be next but just keep your eyes open for it) Soon
Yeah the review channel coming is a joke
It’s a weird feeling to be subscribed to a channel with zero content
It’s is being released on eleventeenth of julember
Do they have different bounce options? I’m not all the way through the video, so maybe this gets covered. Love the presentation and I like the full face grooves and the micro grooves.
Well done Mr Shiels on the bike ride
the bike looks like something out of a 1970 butlins holiday camp
strum away with your new wedges
They kind of look cheap to me, especially the overkill on media blasting, that’s also probably where the extra spin comes from. You might want to make sure they are conforming.
It was a pleasure to see you have a smile on your face and a wedge in your hands. It has been rare recently. I urge you to put them in the bag. If nothing else, just for the confidence they seem to inspire. Good luck on your next break 75!
I’m curious about the durability of the grooves at that price point
They look great clubs Rick great review would love to see if they lived up to your review in a break 75 or if you would change your mind on them would be very hard for you to put them in the bag for a break 75 I think
I was looking forward to see rick use his new chipping technique. Maybe he is still practicing it. Clubs looks great.
They are quite brave a company that I’ve never heard of bringing out wedges and pricing them at premium prices, not exactly going to be in many average players bags most players I know go for a name they know especially if they are paying that amount.
I’ve missed these club reviews where Rick is like a kid on Christmas morning
When you see quality reviews like this one it does make you wonder why more content creators don’t have a dedicated review channel doesn’t it?!
After I made the switch to using Vokey’s a few years ago. It would have to be a really really big improvement. The vokey’s just play amazing. 1 other thing that is just my opinion, but the Vokeys always look amazing. Especially the new sm9’s, they look better than rest of the newer wedges, in my opinion of course. If you dont want to spend the money on a brand new set of vokeys. You can get Sm7 & Sm8’s for great prices all the time. If you are on the fence, & haven’t tried them, its worth trying them out, most will love how they play. Sorry for the rant guy’s, just sharing my experience with the wedges I carry. Take care everyone!!
