Actually it should be the opposite. Tour Pros use irons with weaker/higher lofts. The Titleist T100 PW has a loft of 46°. Taylormade’s pro irons, P7MB and P7MC, have a PW loft of 47°.
I asked the same thing, the number on stamped on the bottom doesn’t mean anything, the lofts are really what’s relevant. Brysons pw has the loft of my 8i and the shaft length of my 7i for example, it be easy to hit that “pitching wedge” 170yrds, because really it’s an extra long 8iron
It be nice to know what the lofts of the clubs were. My pw is 48°, Bryson’s is 40° same as my 8-iron for reference. The number stamped on the bottom of the club doesn’t mean much unless it’s the number of degrees. I’d assume these are fairly standard lofts (47°-48° pw, 44°9i, 40°8i, 36°7i, 34°6i…etc) because the distances are similar to my own.
That’s right brother all this yardage thing is bollocks all this customising of clubs shouldn’t be allowed with tour pro golf it’s ruining golf standard clubs let’s see how they get on
@@whataplonker82 seriously, they should make some kind of standards. I understand a couple degrees for gapping and whatnot but to have a “pitching wedge” that’s an extra long 8-iron is just absurd. That’s 9° stronger than tigers pw which is more than a 2 club difference. 🤦♂️
@TheWedgeWizard that’s what I’m saying it’s like basically there clubs are on steroids plus they shouldn’t always follow the sun standard clubs that’s it only way to solve all this roll back ball stuff
My 7 iron goes 100 yards my driver goes 210 yards. I have a 12 handicap from the senior tees. Shot 41 on 9 holes yesterday.
Ur putting must be phenomenal
But what are his lofts?

I think he’s in the titleist t100, so 34 degree 7i, give or take a degree or 2 for gapping.
No jacked lofts, just speed and a pure strike
Irrelevant

James robbo?
My yardages were the same until his 5 wood then he got me by about 15 – 20 yard with the driver.
Absolutely pure
My sand wedge can go farther than his 8 iron when I thin it just right
Thats farther than this 71 yr old hits his😫
I was with him until 9 iron then the gaps between each club were huge 😮
If I count the distance my ball goes forward and 90° right, I think I’ve got him😂
Range balls?
THAT’S NO PROFESSIONAL THAT’S JAMES ROBINSON ANOTHER HACKER MATE OF RICKS.😂😂😂
🤔🤔
Mong
I’d put money on the fact that he’s better than you are
He hits his driver over 300
this is almost certainly carry distance, not counting rollout
Pure striking 👌
its not the dist. its my accuracy 😅

Don’t compare yourself to pro’s It’s their job to hit those numbers. We play ounce a week what can we expect. We do it for fun.
Glorious.. sometimes I warm up like this.. then proceed to shoot in the 90’s 😮
I’m guessing this is in USA
It’s hard to believe I hit it 50 past this guy with every club.
Ooooh, this isn’t in feet.
Note the divot trail he leaves, it’s perfectly straight!
