Always good quick simple tips 👌
Going to try this today out on the course. Thanks Rick!
When I try this I hit pop flies higher than Willy May’s Hayes.
How I do you tee it? (Half the ball above the crown of club or how much) and how much loft is on your driver?
I bet your swing is too steep
Loved the reference from the movie MAJOR LEAGUE ⚾️
🤣 love this
Gotta hit your push-ups every time you pop it up
Thank you I needed this going do this down the range
I am thinking of starting golf. I love your YouTube channel Rick.
All the Basics that is required for hitting a driver. Thanks Rick.
A quick simple tips video 👍 its good to see these to just refresh little details of driver position etc keep up with the great content it is very helpful.
Perfect video right after a bad session at the range! Cheers Rick
Great video Rick 👍 I still can’t nail driver though 😅 I definitely need lessons
I’ve gone about a year without being able to hit my driver accurately. So bad that I’ve just been leaving it in the bag lately. About two weeks ago I figured this out and it changed everything!
My irons are still depressingly bad… but at least I can tee off now. Great tip!
I’ve gone from a flimsy starter set driver to a G425 with extra stiff shaft for my swing speed on sale just before G430 came out. Thanks to that and Rick’s earlier tips my driving is no longer a liability. Thanks Rick!!
Flimsy starter set drivers are a huge liability no one talks about it. Hooking every drive OB to the next course made me want to quit using my Nitro. Bought a Cobra SpeedZone, and I’m immediately averaging 250 easy and hitting 70% of fairways.
Me too. Driver isn’t my worst club anymore. Thanks to Rick.✌️⛳🏌️
I’ve also picked these up from earlier videos, and am eager to get them off the range and onto the course. also my new Mavrik driver.
Always Great watching you tips on getting good golf
Great advice IF AND ONLY IF there is adequate hip rotation. If there is not enough hip turn during the backswing, everything you discuss will result in coming up and out of the swing producing a slice.
Simple tips but definitely useful to remember all 3.
Good video as a reminder…. To the driving range with this gem
Awesome & to the point. Could use a similar video on hitting a 3W or 5W off the tee. Can they be hit both up like a driver and down like on the fairway ?
It’s simple – Alex & Danny explain it a bit more in their posts but this is a good reminder although it misses out the biggest one which is tempo, we all need to slow down the backswing and max out speed at bottom of the arc
I miss those AMAZIN’ tutorials Mr. Shiels used to film years ago. Good old times!
Biggest tip as a newby. Before hitting the ball… reach your right arm down the back of your right leg hamstring. (Gives you the posture behind the ball and weight balance)
