  1. I played golf growing up as a kid into my teenage years but fell out of love with it in college and then into law school. Watching Rick’s videos throughout 2020 and into 2021 got me back into golf and I broke 80 for the first time last weekend!

  2. The negativity is killing these videos, Rick. Love the content usually. Just hit the ball how you know you can. You’ll play better and maybe be more positive. Have fun man

    1. Yeah how many times do we have to hear that he’s not feeling it today or he’s not confident or cussing after a bad shot or crying and seeing you hit the ball bad and it still goes 280 yards a little bit off the right side of the fairway like dude just play golf I love Rick but it’s gotten really negative all the sudden and I don’t get why. But in another video he says keep a good attitude and always be confident in every shot. But he’s not doing that

    2. Yeah, agreed. Groaning after hitting a great drive and having 120 yards in. Already defeated before he even hit for no reason. Mental game needs a reset lol

  3. “On the last break75 episode i hit a lot of full wedges, too many full ones”

No Rick, for the last 7 years you’ve hit too many full wedges! 😂

  4. I knew deep down that this video would have been titled completely different, but I was still fully rooting for you on hole 17. Good effort!

  5. Any golf shot…Good bad or ugly beats anything when your out with a mate on the course..keep going Rick

  6. I hope Rick finds himself a bit. Love his videos. Week after week if him being upset and disappointed all round is tough to watch. It reminds me too much of my own game

  7. I truly enjoy content like this! It shows that even the best of us have bad days! Keep up the grind Rick, and you’ll smash that 75 in no time! <3

  8. Keep proper perspective Rick. It may have been “a tough day at the office” but your office was playing a round of golf on a beautiful links course while making content for your hugely successful channel. Keep up the outstanding work!

  9. I love how breaking 80 is a crap day on the course for you. I’m out here thrilled when I break 100. LOL! Love this series. Keep it rolling!!

  10. I’m not gonna be one of those people that says “I’d be throwing myself a party if I shot 80 on a 7000 yard course.” But I am going to be one of those people that says, “Any day playing golf is a better day than most people get.”
Thank you for the incredible content. Here’s to getting better on the next round.

  11. Videos like this are honestly some of my favorite. It shows the level of difficulty the sport of golf truly is and makes it more relatable to us “casuals” that watch all you guys. Great video Rick!

  12. Can we stop for a moment in appreciation of how well Guy has been playing lately?!?! 🙌🏾

    1. Appreciation Time: Guy has one of smoothest putting strokes I’ve seen (some tour pros included). And consistently seems to be able to weight his puts accurately. Unreal.

  13. I was a junior member at this amazing golf course in the late 80s it’s so good, I’ve played golf in Portugal and Spain and all over the UK but if I could go back and play any course would be this one unlucky Rick difficult place to break 75 even if you had your A game on, great video as usual fellas keep them coming, I haven’t been able to play golf for over a year now as I’m struggling to recover from covid damage to my chest and lungs but watching yourself and nice guy Guy play each week keeps my interest going and hopefully I can get back playing next spring thanks again boys brought back some great memoirs from my youth watching you playing this place 👍

  14. 17 was the perfect example of the power of positive thinking Rick. You almost convince yourself you’re going to have a bad round at times. I’d love to see you go round without doubting yourself. I’m convinced you’d shoot a low score

  15. I’ve always loved Rick’s good attitude, even when playing poorly, but pissed off Rick is my absolute favorite. So relatable!

  16. Rick, I’d be interested to see how next season of break 75 would play out if you brought on a sports psychologist. You’ve clearly got the physical talent to play well. To me so much of what affects your game is between your ears.

I get the every day golfer can’t bring on a psychologist, but perhaps some of the techniques you work through could help a lot of your viewers navigate a golf course themselves.

  17. These days I prefer watching golf like this rather than pro golf, the likes of Rick and good good is just more entertaining to me, keep up the good work!
