    1. Lol especially the sand shot, seems he always duff’s one or two per round in there😂

  1. Love it Rick, can’t wait for this weather to break in the Midwest in the US, need to get my golf fix, outdoors!!!

  2. For number 2 I always use my Texas chipper. Putter stroke, bump n run, with a little backspin. Once you get the feel for it, it’s the best way. I’ve found that the putter can be a bit iffy when the fairway leading up to the green is beat up or pitted.

  3. Great video, Rick. You have a rare talent for communicating golf instruction/tips simply and effectively. I wish you’d produce more clips of this nature.

  4. good tip i heard somewhere concerning the grip pressure: imagine holding a bird that almost wants to fly out your hand, you dont wanna kill the bird but you wanna hold on so it doesnt fly away

  5. For tip #1, the 8 iron can be fine but even better/more consistent is to learn the Runyan method/rule of 12 to determine the best club to use around the green. It works like an absolute charm though in some situations you do need to adjust and make it based on 11 or 13 depending on your club lofts and course conditions.

  6. Awesome stuff. I broke 100 last year because of your break 100 video. Now I’m almost to the point of breaking 90. Just need to add some consistency to my driver, and really focus on chipping and putting. 50 yards and in is where I find myself struggling the most.

  7. Great tips. I will try the 7,8, or 9 for chipping. Never did that before. Always used a wedge. Thanks Rick

  8. I applied the bump & run tip to a ball in the trees, and did a similar concept with my driver. got me out of trouble very nicely, when a more lofted club would have both hung up in the branches, itself, and put the ball up into the branches.

  9. As I am getting into the golf game much later in life I take lessons. First thing my instructor noticed and we corrected was my grip. Yep. I was strangling the club. I went a month at the range with a much more relaxed grip and gained accuracy, distance, and even on fat shots they at least got the ball to travel better. Thanks Rick. Great tips. Have a great day sir!

  10. Tip number 2, I use all the time. With number 1, I prefer the putter over an 8 iron, have more control even going thru some thicker grass.

  11. a few years back i switched over to putting a line on the golf ball. what a game changer. drastically improved my alignment on putting. and when you see it roll end over end you know instantly if u hit a good put or not.

  12. I’ve always used the 7 iron on the fringe, 8 just off the fringe and 9 a little further away. I pick a putting line then chip the ball onto the green on my putting line to start the roll to the pin. Still need good weight.

  13. Hi Rick. It’s great to see you doing tutorials again. Last year, I straightened out my slice with 4 of your videos and gained about 80 extra yards on my drive. BRAVO, my friend. Peace.
