    1. if its your job, its technically worth it… he’ll make the money back on 2 videos dont worry

    2. @@FatihPekbasI doubt it, but even if he did then £2000 comes off of his tax bill at the end of the year. I say fair play Rick😂

    3. all depends on who is buying it. it’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay. certainly wouldn’t be worth that kind of money for the majority of everyone

  1. Look forward to the golfbidder challenge. I’m in the market for a new driver and fairway wood so will wait to see what you guys pick 👍

    1. Prices have risen since your last challenge with @peterfinchgolf, so it will be interesting how you adapt and stay within budget!

  2. £2000 is reasonable for the perfect putter, but I don’t think my back can take the 3 months of sleeping on the couch.

  3. Awesome concept for a fitting and custom equipment but I could get a whole new set of clubs for that money!!!! Putter looks great though! Very sleek and sexy lol!

  4. Thats a stupid amount of money for that putter and experience. I got a free fitting at a Scotty Cameron Experience Day with their main UK putter guy with no obligation to buy. The fitting was great, I shopped around and am still using that putter 3 years later and its not going anywhere as its been brilliant for me. Tell you what I’d like to see, Rick getting fit by Ian Fraser at TXG/CC…..now that would be worth it!

    1. @@BigDcap Agree on finish, but length, lie, weight and options for toe hang are all customizable options from the fit. To charge that much for the other elements is just too much IMO. TXG wise, I was referring to Ian fitting Rick for the rest of his bag.

  5. I think Rick not having like a golf brand sponsor is awesome in comparison to other YouTube channels who may be afraid to be completely honest when it comes to experiences like this. Cheers Rick, awesome video!

  6. I would definitely send it back. It’s ridiculous that it’s gone rusty, unless it’s April fool?

  7. 9:54 That’s a raw finish… which adds to the spin… so you can putt out at 50 yards… and stick it like a dart. 🤪

  8. I love the way Rick calls it out as it is! Other golf YouTubers are basically stuck on their club choice because of deals but the likes of Rick and Peter Finch remain independent which gives their channels integrity and also allows us to see their true opinions. I think Ricks reviews are great and they are some of the reasons why he is still and will remain the GOAT of YouTube golf!

    1. @VonHanzee how, this review was pretty honest, crap rust and fitting not worth the money ?

    2. No disclaimer, not a very positive review, I think Rick actually paid the £2k for this experience.
If he didn’t, he broke UK YouTube rules.
      Which I doubt he’d do for a paltry £2k.

I watch loads of YouTube reviews and normally you get “I was sent this [xxxx] by [yyyy] and I don’t have to send it back, but this review is my honest opinion of the product”

  9. My putter cost £12 ( yes 12 ) in 1986 – wouldnt change it for the world ( or £2000 ) !

  10. I have to wonder if it’s really any better than the 150.00 Adams Mission putter you tested in the HIT lab and really liked…

  11. I absolutely love the honesty right from the go. I know that’s what the reviews is based on but it’s still good to see. The other lads don’t do that even when they say they do c

  12. I love Ping and everything they do but I feel the fitting process with the iphone cradle has a fatal flaw that can’t be as accurate as it needs to be. While the sensors and everything in the iphone are top notch and accurate, I just don’t know how you can strap an extra 200+ grams on to the shaft of a putter and expect that someone will putt the same way as when you remove that massive amount of weight. I use the Ping app to practice from time to time but the heft it adds to my putter is more than noticeable on my stroke and how I deliver the putter to the ball. How do you fit someone to a putter that weighs over 700g with the iphone attached and then ship them a putter that then weighs +/- 550g? It’s like fitting someone to a driver that has a 220g shaft in it and then delivering an assembled club that only has a 40g shaft. They’re going to feel completely different.

    1. I was going to say the same, not even using quintec for a 200 dollar fitting??

    1. If this is an April 1st skit I don’t think Ping will be happy as judging by the comments not many don’t think it’s real

  13. 2 years ago I walked into a Pro Shop in the Cotswolds and spotted LAB putters , after holing the 1st 6 putts from 12 feet I fell hook line and sinker for the DF 2.1 and inquired as to how much it would cost me , the super friendly Professional said that if I was serious he would book me in for a fitting the following day for a 45 minute fitting . Next day I had a brilliant personal fitting with lasers and video and we settled on my custom club , then the price which was substantially higher than my recent Taylor Made Stealth 2 driver but we all know nobody uses their driver as many times as our putter , I then waited almost 6 weeks for the putter to arrive from the USA and I’ve loved it ever since , and I’m always looking at other putters when I visit pro shops , nothing even gets close .

  14. I went to Miles of Golf in Cincinnati for a putter fitting. My fitter told me to bring my 3 favorite putters. He put me on Quintic and GC quad with each. He told me one was garbage (previously fitted by another shop), but in fairness, my stroke has significantly changed since that time. One was a broomstick LAB, I bought on a whim, but don’t know how to hit. He told my my 34″ L.A.B. was perfect “as is”. He went through all the numbers with me to prove it. Gave me a tempo drill with a Blast Motion device (I already owned) and said he “had nothing to sell me.” Now, that is an amazing experience! Needless to say, that is where I will be going for future fittings. You cannot buy that kind of integrity.
