  1. Great stuff Pete! Hope you’re already getting used to the bike seat as they can be punishing 😅

  2. You’re one brave man Mr Finch , I will obviously be donating to the charity and keenly watching your progress, hope your back up team can keep you going to make it to the end !

  3. i THINK THIS IS GOING TO BE AN AMZING JOURNEY!!!!! I know it will be tough on you Peter, and for that I feel for you; but as an observer of your channell this is going to be an epic journey for me to see courses I would never be privy to otherwise. Thank you for doing this and be safe and well on your travels mate.

  4. Pete, having met you a couple of times, I always thought you were a sane and intelligent person, but wow, this is insane. Best wishes to you and the team. Smash it, mate❤

  5. That’s awesome Mr. Finch. I’ve done cycling for a long time and I had a heart attack do to blood clots so I love the foundation. Lots of bananas and peanut butter sandwiches are key. It’s also a good idea to keep a candy bar around for when or if you bonk. Happy for you Peter. It’ll be hard but the feeling of accomplishment will be amazing. Good luck!

  6. Chapeau Pete! I love cycling, golf and have been part of research teams that have recieved BHF funding to help reduce cardiovascular risk and improve cardiac rehab post MI. Will try and join you as you pedal past Wales. Good luck!

  7. Good luck with this Peter. A very worthy cause. I cycle three days a week between golf days. Not far, around 10-12 miles or so, and my bum still aches even after years of doing this. I can’t even begin to imagine what 1000 miles would do to me. I’ve played Mullion a few times many years ago. Nice little course in a beautiful part of the country.

  8. Good luck and take care of yourself, Pete! Pushing yourself is one thing, but this is pretty extreme!

  9. Well done Pete 👍 yes it will be hard but wow mate absolutely amazing. I will try and meet you along the way to cheer you on

  10. All the best mate in your challenge. It’s going to be epic and the money you raise is for a fantastic cause. Good luck 👍🏻⛳️🚴🏻

  11. Congrats Pete. If I were going to be in the UK, I’d be there with you!! Both of my grandparents who are both originally from Outside of Manchester both passed of heart issues. Best of luck. I’ll be following for sure.

  12. A brilliant and important cause Pete. A friend of mine had a cardiac arrest walking off the 16th tee at Chorley Golf Club a few years ago. It was only the fast actions of his playing partner and the fact that Chorley had a defibrillator at the clubhouse that a quick-thinking greenskeeper was able to get out to him that managed to save his life. Every golf club should have at least one defib on their property. Good luck!

  13. Supporting you 100% for what you will be achieving

    Best of success from Canada

    Cheers

    Guy
