I FORGED MY OWN GOLF CLUB (…does it work?)

I forged my extremely own club and checked it out! Going To Swifts Forge near Belfast, I attempted my hand as a blacksmith and develop my own club. This is a video I've been trying to do for many years, so thank you to Aaron for accepting let me loose in his workshop and being an amazing instructor. Make certain to reveal Swifts some love on Instagram (@swiftsforge) and check out their site:

  1. This was a awesome video! May bring some recognition to how much time and effort goes into forged irons and putters! Maybe will make people understand why they cost alot more $$$$$ then non forged clubs! Very cool! Great work my friend!

  2. Great video Pete! Be awesome if you could make irons, wedges etc to see what they also perform like!

  3. Probably one of my favorite videos you’ve done. Really cool seeing that process and the story behind the forge.

  4. Great video Pete. I’ve always loved the how it’s made TV shows and this was no exception. I believe y’all said it was made from wrought iron and i was wondering what the final weight of the putter is. Thanks buddy. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ฏ

  5. Love the thumbnail ๐Ÿ˜‚, thereโ€™s always a great feeling when you use something youโ€™ve made yourself, you both did an excellent job ๐Ÿ‘.

  6. Love the craftsmanship. Love the raw metal look rather and the slight imperfections. What great content.

  7. Loved that, very interesting video. Absolutely has to go in the bag. How many people can say they made their own putter. ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. Hell’s fire but that Aaron has got skills and wow that putter looks amazing.
Love the fact that its not all shined up and gleaming – its a masterpiece

  9. This was utterly fascinating! Bravo for doing something different (but don’t stop doing what you usually do!)

  10. I love it when I just know that I am the only one in the world doing something at a particular moment. Sometimes itโ€™s knowing that no one else has or will ever do something that I am doing. You forging a putter by hand, from metal that comes from a cart made in the 1700s, is definitely a one of a kind activity. I love this, too!

  11. Great video Pete! I would love to do something like this and game a putter I made ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

  12. Great video Mr Finch brilliant to see how the old golfers used to make the clubs & really looking forward to see how you get on with it in coming months ๐ŸŒโ€โ™‚๏ธโ›ณ

  13. What a very cool video! Steel from 600 years ago still being used is a credit to how they did it back in the day! This is a once in a lifetime putter and could be in a museum some day.

  14. Great video, really interesting, a lot of skills involved in this and you hit it with a hammer! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Surprisingly one of your most enjoyable and innovative videos ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  15. One of your best videos! Love how youโ€™ve shown the process of making the putter and the review of it too

  16. Amazing, amazing stuff. I got strangely emotional watching this video, like you were connecting to the game in a different way than I had ever thought about before.
