Get MORE DISTANCE From Your CURRENT DRIVER!
I watched Alex Etches talking about the “Speed Ring” on the new Titleist driver, he said “the name Speed Ring sounds like the side effect from eating a dodgy curry” ! 🤣
Great video Peter, lots of great guidance 👍
Thanks Tony
Further and longer? I’ll settle for one or the other. I would opt for “farther’ if given the chance. Great video, I am going to try all five tips.
Very well-down video! I would love to see the ball vid!
Great video, I’ve lost my way with driver recently so this was good to reset myself 👍
Really enjoy your teaching methods……well done!
“I’m surprised that ball isn’t dust”.
You Crack me up, Mr. Finch. Great tips, sir.
🔥🔥🔥
Generally for me, slowing down my tempo allows me to hit it straighter and longer than if I try to go too fast. Usually if I am mis-hitting the ball with driver (or most clubs) I am just out of sequence from trying to swing beyond my skill level.
You’re not alone. If get too fast on my downswing and my hands turn over too fast, high chance im duck hooking left
What about the correlation between ball compression and swing speed Pete?..just a thought …🏌🏼♂️
I’d be interested in a discussion about golf swing swing speed and golf ball compression.
In the books
Been struggling to hit up on my driver, thank you Pete! Watching you line up and then Just take a step back blew my mind how simple that setup is
I dont tend to use the pinnacle for distance, I use the Top Flite XL… Of course that also means the whole golf course need to use ear protection not to go deaf when I hit it :p
Good stuff. I’ve been using these techniques and added about 15 yds to my carry distance over the past six months or so. If you do a full ball comparison video, I would like to see if you could try the Titleist ProV1x left dash ball. I’ve seen videos that have compared this ball at various swing speeds and shown that this has been the best ball to use overall. It’s a difficult find but would be great. Thanks and keep up the great content!
Love the video. And the irony of saying using your current drive with the newest driver on the market in your hands 🤣🤣
Thanks Pete! Yeah, just in the last week I started realizing how much distance I was losing on all my clubs and constantly coming up short was maddening! I started loading better and focused on the hip turn more and I instantly started hitting my max yardages for my clubs , I thought maybe my range finder was switch to meters, but it was all in the hips!
Pete, your left foot seems to be pointing out at around 45 degrees. I tend to try and keep my feet parallel. Will twisting my out out a little offer easier rotation for driving?
Great video Pete, but, as good as they are I still think having lessons one to one is the best way of getting more distance. I had a lesson and fitting, the lesson gained me 40 yards and the fitting said I wouldn’t get any more distance with the big dog so I saved a lot which I put toward new hybrid to go with my already new irons. I would love to see a video on the different golf balls and the affect they can have on distance.
The problem is it’s all about the body rotation. Tried the left heel tip, and just no additional yardage obtained. The dip and push up also is a disaster as I then hit the ball fat or top it. The tee pegs I haven’t tried Peter, so will during the next practice session.
Wow Finchy! Been waiting for a video like this. Awesome!
