I, ~3 handicap, use one in 13.5 degrees with a 3wood length shaft. It is a great option off the tee, but it did require a shuffle at the top of my bag. I took 3 wood and 3 iron out and put mini driver and 5 wood in. I’ve been using this setup for about 6 months and it has helped clarify, not complicate, what to hit off the tee. If there is any question, it is a mini driver off the tee. It is also underrated off the ground and can be a weapon on a par 5.
Prob a dumb question but how does having more spin in a driver help with hitting more fairways. I thought having lower spin would help with slices/hooks
Is it a shorter shaft length that a standard driver?
I’m wondering this to
Yes it’s 3 wood length

Love the videos I was a 18 handicap and now 8 thanks to u finchy
Yeah. I want one. Always wanted a burner when i was younger and miss drivers with a smaller head. I’ll wait till next year when they are £150 tho 🤣
I hit mine just as far as my driver used to go with more consistency.. It’s been a great add to my bag

So more backspin means less side spin. Hence straighter
the 3 wood is a myth. I hit it like 10y further than my 3h. Waste of a club. Just choke down on driver to find a fairway. I carry an extra wedge.
No just swing your driver smoothly and it will go in the fairway just as far as that club
