  1. As someone who really liked the looks of 2023 Paradym (and ended up getting the LS version)… this year’s models aren’t doing it for me in the looks department at all.

    1. Whoever approved the smokey design must have been smoking something themselves.

Also naming something AI is just bottom of the barrel creativity – seriously you don’t have to shove AI in everything.

Great the tech sounds good now that it’s more forgiving, but you didn’t need AI to tell you that people want more forgiveness or how to get there.

They need to stop releasing golf clubs like they were apple iphones, one every year, the incremental changes are so small it’s pointless.

      Disappointing Callaway.

    2. Interesting. I actually didn’t love last year’s look, but love this more muted look from the smoke. To each their own I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️

    3. I think the Rogue ST Max is the best looking of the last few years. Its a shame they all feel the need to make their drivers look so flashy so we can tell that the pros are using it on tv.

    4. @@azt129 could not disagree more.

‘you didn’t need AI to tell you how to get more forgiveness’ thats literally the point of AI calculations! To deliver analysis and conclusions that cannot be done by humans or which can be done much faster than by humans.

Anyone who thinks the yearly releases are designed for people to update every year are really missing the point. Each person has their own frequency of updating their clubs, for me 4-8 years typically and not the whole bag at the same time. When I’m ready to buy a new club, why would I want older tech.

You actually cited the other main example of how yearly releases work, even though you didn’t realise you did, the mobile phone market. The yearly releases are not designed for a direct update from the previous model, you should be comparing over a few years to see suitable gains in performance.

Big brands do this to keep themselves present in consumers minds and to ensure anyone looking for new products can always have the latest and greatest they can achieve.

  2. I’m not a fan of the blue in the paradym. Not 100% sold on the underside of the smoke but prefer over last year’s model. Love the top of it though. Shame about the font party… Top video and production as usual Pete and team. Yours is the first new driver vid I’ve watched and the others have a high bar to beat!

  3. Golf club manufacturers are VERY good at telling us about all of these crazy advancements, but realistically they’re so minimal. The only thing AI is doing is gaslighting everyone into thinking this years line up is even needed.

    1. it’s absolutely 99% fluff. there are only so many places you can relocate mass to on a club head. And of all those places, only a few of them are beneficial and legal.

    2. Sure thats marketing 🤷‍♂️ but in 5-8 years there will absolutely be some improvements, not 70yards and zero dispursion but maybe 15 yards and some firgiveness

  4. Just watched a few of the same reviews from other creators – you guys are doing a stellar job! The only problem is that I’m already subscribed to your channel 😁 Keep up the great work!

  5. Thanks for the great non biased reviews! The smoke looks like an another world beater from callaway! 🔥

  6. I love my Paradym. Used to play the tsi3 but on my bad days it didnt help me keep it in play. no drivers magic, but the paradym for me feels about as close to automatic as i can get with the big stick. Love to see more improvement, Callaways doing some really cool stuff right now, hope some other manufacturers can follow suit.

  7. Paradym driver and 5 wood are 2 of my best club purchases ever. I love the look, feel, sound, and performance. The ONLY reason I would upgrade is because of my 2019 Apex Smoke irons. To have a full bag of smokes would just be too cool!

  8. I own the Paradym with the slider. I have to say it totally changed my game. I don’t think about my drives anymore. It allowed me to focus on my iron play. When I’m on the course I rave about the club and if players are interested I let them try my Paradym driver.

  9. I swing the Ping G430 and I love it. The stealth and the paradym both feel like hitting a brick to me. So I’m staying with G430.

  10. Excellent review, i have just got the Paradigm X and 1st round took 9 shots off my previous best score. Mainly due to being more accurate with the driver! Anyone out there looking to upgrade, i would really recommend getting a fitting and getting the 2023 Paradigm while they are discounted, because although the smoke might get tou a few more yards the cost saving i feel makes the Paradigm a much better deal.

  11. New Paradym looks better, hard to justify an upgrade from last year but maybe if you have an older driver. I’m currently using the Rogue and will wait and see after all new driver reviews are released. Great review as always Peter

    1. Rogue is a fantastic club and honestly from everything I’ve seen appears to still offer more forgiveness than the paradigm or even this new AI version. Might be slightly less in distance, but I think for most golfers the forgiveness on strikes is most important.

  12. It’s really important to test before buying! I really wanted a Paradime, but after extensive testing Ping430 ended up being the best for me in the long run! A lot of adjustability thar i can implement when i get better at striking🤔

    1. Agree. Tested the Paradym last year and even though it was the smoothest and softest feeling driver I’ve ever swung, the results just were not there. I currently use a Mizuno JPX 900 driver and even though it sounds awfully clunky and loud and don’t have the distance I would like, I am extremely accurate with it. Keeping the ball in the fairway with a 250 yard drive, especially as I get older, is just a little more of an important factor than the ability to crush a drive 300 yards wide right or left into the trees.

  13. It would be easy to just roll out a lazy ‘which is longer’ head to head but congratulations to Pete and team as this is an excellent data and information driven video. Keep up the good work.

  14. I’m in the market for a new driver this year and these kind of in depth reviews will help a lot in that process. Great review Pete!

  15. Would be great to see a review of the new Paradym vs something like the Rogue ST Max. Probably more likely to be interested in changing a club that’s a few years old to changing last year’s model. 😊

  16. I am seriously considering callaway for my driver needs, BUT… my stealth 2+ just feels amazing, the only thing that concerns me regarding my stealth 2+ driver, is it’s longevity. Pete, what do you reckon ?

  17. I would love to see what the test results of your whole team would be. It would give a good representation of a range of skill levels which would certainly appeal to me.

  18. I can always count on Finchy for a good laugh and a very well produced video. However, the one thing I appreciate the most about Pete, he is honest. I love the colorway of the Paradym and how great it feels. For the price, I will keep the oldy but goody!
