  1. This technique will increase your swing speed. Fire the hips first then swing. Similar to a baseball swing but inverted.

Chamblee make a similar point in his book but I would disagree with one key point——-the right knee flex does straighten significantly, but it is just not true that you want to totally loose all the flex, which would cause the right knee to lock—-even worse than trying to completely keep all the flex. Just watch videos of all the great swings—-the right knee looses a lot of flex but NOT ALL OF IT!
