In the last round of the 2020 Sentry Tournament of Champions, Justin Thomas carded a 4-under 69 but bogeyed 2 of the last holes in policy, dropping to 14-under for the tournament to require a playoff with Xander Schauffele and Patrick Reed. Thomas would go on to outlive both Schauffele and Reed through three playoff holes on his way to declaring his 12th profession PGA trip victory.

How wide is 18 fairway?? 73ft high absolute quacking duck hook and he ends up with 20 yards of fairway still left of him.
85 yards I looked it up.

He started just right of Jim Furyk’s house on that hole. I played a few years back and its wide. Starting right and hook left, your good to go.
3rd playoff hole JT gets up and down from 100 yds. And Reed misses his putt and somebody yells cheater.
The golf gods are looking down and all is right in the world.

Can you hear him yell in this video?
What a good player Thomas has become over the last couple of years…I wasnโt a fan until recently but have much respect for him now .. and sticking it to Reed was the cherry on the cake ๐ฐ๐

Captain America is the hero you need, but you dont deserve
PGA Tour editors have become much much better, thank you very much for showing more than a few putts.

When JT is on form he’s up there as one of the genuine best of this modern era. Really exciting player to watch when everything clicks together!

Is it just me or does this course look very wide off the tee
It’s always been a wide course. They even narrowed it a bit this year, but still wide.
So glad I stayed up to see the last round. Best finish in a long while. Justin kept his cool. ๐ช

5’10” 175 pounds soaking wet… that’s what I love about golf… you don’t have to be a brute to compete and win.
Nope just money, a club pro father and country club access from the age of 3.
Ruach Adam more like 150 soaking wet.
You don’t have to be. But Koepka, DJ and Tiger have shown that strength can go a long way too.
When people say players today are better. Lol. Do you guys remember Tiger and Ernie’s playoff on this hole???
Trading eagles. Then birdies. Clutchness after clutchness.
Very Tough conditions this week, but Ernie shot -31 on this course.
Some Major choking at the end here by JT and Xander in regulation.
You’re right, but Tiger and Jack are on a totally different playing field really. Thomas choked, but others choked, and that’s the modern game a lot…not always. Phil won his OPEN championship in incredible fashion, as did Stenson. There are many “occasional” players that win the way Tiger and Jack did, but those two are the only ones that you COUNT ON to finish like champions every time. Even when they lose, they finish with a flair.
Look at TJ go!
JT certainly earned that one. When heโs on, you have to play perfect golf to beat him. Just like Rory and obviously Tiger. Man thatโs a pretty swing.
Joshua Surgeon well said
Yo 2020 starting off hot with the highlights
Thomas reminds me of Speith but with less emotional swings and more killer instinct.
What a great stretch in the middle of his round under windy conditions! Was Xander in the playoff as well, this highlights deal only showed JT’s round?
If he plays 18 safe the first time, no playoff needed
Congrats JT keep that momentum going from the Presidents Cup
I’m not really a fan but great round. great rythm …props!
this guy is incredible with his woods
Just when you think you can golf and do what they do on these courses and conditions, these guys pass everyone at light speed!!
