‘Golf legend’ – Greg Norman???? The guy won 2 majors??? Legends like Nicklaus, Woods, Palmer, Player and other are legends, not an individual who is really best known for choking in big situations. Take a look at Norman’s big choke fest at Augusta and then you’ll realize he’s no legend!

@Sloe Bone A friend of mine followed Norman around the final round in Augusta, 1996. According to him, Norman’s loss to Faldo was the most embarrassing choke he’s ever seen in any sport!
No one should be put “on the clock” during a Major. There is more pressure involved playing a major than a regular tour event. I’d like to see the officials play “on the clock” with what’s at stake. Bet they wouldn’t make it off the first tee.
As for LIV, let them go play there. The PGA Tour will be better off with out them. “Most” are has-beens or want-a-be’s that were “one hit wonders”. Won’t miss them.
I guess people should not be on the clock for chess either. Ya, take as long as you want……take all day. Maybe they should get rid of the shot clock in basketball especially in the NBA finals when it really matters or let a football team sit at the line of scrimmage for hours instead of a play clock. Or maybe……just maybe the clock is part of these games.
At the end of the day, where Tiger plays is the tour that is most superior and majority of people are going to watch

LIV has no cuts, therefore no pressure, and therefore no octane. Yes, the clock is part of the game in almost all sports; even the game of chess. You can’t just take all day.
