    1. not sure why it is basically exhibition golf. no cuts most of field below average players

  4. Phil Mickelson wanted change and thought the PGA wasn’t doing enough for the players and was using LIV as leverage. As it turns out, the PGA could’ve done more and they now are. It looks like that leverage worked but what does it say to the players now that they know the PGA could’ve done more all along but were holding out? In the end, it proves that competition is good. Thanks Phil!

    1. Josh Shambeau great point! I mean, you’re actually speaking on the one point that has caused this whole on-going drama. It’s the thing that Phil was actually trying to do for himself, and other golfers… leverage LIV for better pay for PGA players. It seems that this point has been lost. And to your point, it seems to be working. Which, should cause the players to have raised concerns. As you said, it just proved that the PGA could have been doing better. Everyone wants to make Phil the villain, but his actions have actually made things better for some of those same players who have criticized him. Even if he did have his own agenda for looking out for himself, that’s what we’re supposed to do, look out for ourselves.

  5. PGA/LPGA/DP tours should all thank Lefty and Greg for their all of a suddenly purse increase and future $$$$ changes. Money talks…..

  6. Isn’t it strange that these changes could have been implemented earlier but only introduced as they became threatened

  7. The PGA Tour doesn’t get it. There is more to it than $$$$. There are too many exemptions on the PGA Tour and many of their venues are 2nd rate. About 10 tournaments should be cut from the schedule, especially the ones that the Top Players bail out of anyway.

  8. too little too late,,,should have already done changes,,,now the PGA is playing catchup, as LIV already has more tourneys added for next year. Now the PGA is doing what LIV is doing,,,throwing money at it and saying Money is ok for them , but not for LIV
